I have worked as a small business co-owner of a construction company and then an excavation company. This has given me a variety of opportunities in leadership. I searched hard to recruit experienced talent to bring onto our construction and excavation teams. I supervised multiply work crews from 2-20 persons a crew over the period of twelve years on building job sites.
I coordinated multiple subcontractors over weeks and months to be sure various projects on each home were completed in the time frame allotted. I worked with building inspectors and city council members on permits and legislation.
I had just branched out to make specialty home décor items when COVID19 and the restrictive mandates occurred. This throttled my fledgling business and I had to re-direct my efforts this year to becoming a Government Affairs Manager/Liaison officer. This has involved contacting leaders and working with them on behalf of small businesses to stop the unscientific mandates which are threatening life as we know it. I have had some success with several government leaders who have listened to me and even quoted me on T.V. I continue to work with these government leaders and build important relationships
