Intro

I am a small business owner of a one-of-a kind home decor company, Inspiration Creations, and an independent contractor as a Government Affairs Manager/Liaison Officer in North Texas.

I have spent many years as the co-owner of a Construction Company and an Excavation company, where I have gained an appreciation for “Green” Building. I have incorporated this knowledge into my business by utilizing materials that would otherwise be discarded. We are able to use reclaimed wood from various sources and recycled glass and other bits and pieces and design them into products that are not only beautiful, but functional.

The COVID lock-downs and accompanying health mandates put a hold on the business aspirations. I became a Government Affairs Manager/Liaison Officer representing small businesses that have been adversely affected by these mandates when my research proved they were not supported by real science. The protocols and mandates are an unfair burden and expense on these businesses.

I had recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurial Management and Public Health/Environmental Science at BYU – Idaho, graduating summa cum laude. I was invited to study for a Master’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at SUU. I felt it was a good time to increase my skills for my business and substantiate my credentials as a Government Affairs Manager.
